About Founder - Johanna HOltan

Recent talk at TEDx University of Edinburgh 2015

For over 15 years I’ve been creating high quality events and projects in a range of different contexts and countries. From America, Mexico, Jamaica, Georgia, to Scotland.

I understand how to build communities that bring ideas to life, grow and sustain them to create a meaningful and lasting impact.

I am passionate about pioneering new projects.

I work alongside communities, groups and organisations who are focused on making change.

I have worked across many sectors. From higher education, international development, active transport, sports & culture, and design.

To bring ideas to life I work closely with a talented network of creative facilitators, designers, film-makers, writers and photographers. Where collaboration and the goals of the idea are at the heart of everything we do.

I am a co-founder of the award-winning CycleHack, TedxPortobello and TedxUniversityof Edinburgh

And my creation Penny in Yo Pants has gone global.

I am the recipient of the University of Edinburgh's Principal’s Medal for Exceptional Service and the Young Alumni Achievement Award from Juniata College.

I am Fargo, North Dakota. Yes it’s a really a place!

I was also an All-American volleyball player at Juniata College.

And I make a mean hotdish.
